Pathfinders: Friendship, leadership, and Fun!
As a Pathfinder you'll learn more about yourself, make new friends, and have an amazingly fun week. For campers in grades 8-10 (in the following fall), the mission of the Pathfinder program is to help the campers discover and appreciate themselves as individuals. You'll do this through a number of different activities including: spending time on our low-ropes adventure course, Pathfinder Jam, a Choose-your-own-Adventure game, or a chill beach party down at Lake Jake (where you can swing into the pond using the new rope swing - an activity reserved for Pathfinder campers and older.)
As a Pathfinder, you'll be among the
oldest campers to stay on main camp. You'll stay in a cabin with your cabin
mates (usually between 8-10 campers) and your counselor. The Pathfinder boys
typically stay in the bunkhouse, and the Pathfinder girls typically stay in St.
Kateri and St. Therese cabins (and use the Vinnies bathrooms) You'll still
participate in the afternoon rotation of swim, choice, and cabin times and
you'll have fun in all the evening programs as well including: Survivor: Camp
Gray, cookout and CTF (Capture-the-Flag), Cabin Time Evening Program, and the
talent show. As a Pathfinder, you have an important function as a role model and
leader for the younger campers. Don't worry, leadership skill building is an
integral part of the program as well.
The goal of the Pathfinder program is to create a welcoming environment in which
each member of the Pathfinder community feels free to be himself/herself and is
accepted by the community as a whole. We hope that you'll join us for a fun,
life-changing week at Camp Gray as a Pathfinder. For dates, pricing, and
