Jeff and Rebecca Hoeben Jeff happens to be married to our co-director, Rebecca. He is a graduate of Xavier University with a degree in Organizational Communication. He enjoys kayaking, building wooden boats, working with fiberglass, backpacking, and cross country skiing. He worked at camp as volunteer program specialist in 2003-2004 and once volunteered with the Missionaries of Charity in Katmandu, Nepal. Together Jeff and Rebecca co-direct the Camp Gray ship. Rebecca's Unofficial Titles: Jeff's Unofficial Titles: "Live simply, so that others may simply live." - Gandhi "Time's fun when you're having flies." - Kermit the Frog |

Joe Van Tassel is from Richmond, Virginia. He has a B.S. in
Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia. (Wahoo-Wah!) He was
a summer camp counselor, Explorer/Voyageur counselor, the Wilderness Programs
Coordinator for two summers, and a volunteer Program Specialist at Camp Gray
before taking on his current role. He enjoys reading, learning new things,
and cross-country skiing (Three Birkebeiners and counting!).

Program Director: Sara Knutson is from just down the road, Milwaukee, WI. She graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati in 2006 with a degree in Theology and Finance. (Both of which will come in handy during her work here at Camp Gray.) She was a volunteer Program Specialist, and a summer staff member before taking on her current role. She enjoys running, doing new things, playing outside, and Gilmore Girl reruns. Sara has also developed a sometimes shocking habit of dying her hair when she needs a change (or to get back to normal.) Her current color, which is a favorite, is a nearly black hue.

Guest Services Manager: Tricia Sanborn performs many different duties at Camp Gray. She serves at the camp registrar, entering campers and groups into the database and managing the summer sessions and rental calendar. In addition to coordinating the details of each groups' stay, she is continually making little improvements to camp that make a big difference. She is also the organizer of many social events for the rest of staff. A vet-tech by training, she houses two pugs, a labradoodle, and a cat. Disney World is a favorite vacation spot, and with the exceptional customer service she gives, we can see why.

Assistant Property Manager: Mark Sanborn makes up the other half of two dynamic camp duos: one is being married to Tricia, and the other is taking care of many technical aspects of Camp Gray's operation such as phones and computer networking.
